Terms of Service
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms apply to the AQW Lodestar browser extension and this website. By installing the extension or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
What Lodestar is
Lodestar is a free, open-source fan project that adds features to the AQW Wiki, AQW character pages and AQCloset. It's not made, endorsed or supported by Artix Entertainment. AdventureQuest Worlds, its items, art and names are trademarks and property of Artix Entertainment, LLC. Wiki content belongs to its authors, and AQCloset belongs to its owners.
Using the extension
- Lodestar is free to use. You don't need an account, and there's nothing to pay for.
- Lodestar works on websites, not in the game. It doesn't play, automate or change AdventureQuest Worlds, and it shouldn't be used to break Artix Entertainment's rules or the rules of any site it works on.
- You're responsible for following the terms of the sites you use alongside Lodestar.
Your data
Lodestar keeps everything in your own browser and never sends it to us. How that works is explained in thePrivacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Information may be wrong
Tooltips, item lists, merge costs and boost times come from the AQW Wiki, Artix Entertainment's pages and other public sources. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check anything important, such as what an item costs or whether it's still available, before relying on it.
Open source
Lodestar's source code is available on GitHub. Your use of the code is covered by the license in that repository.
No warranty
Lodestar and this website are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise they'll always work, be free of bugs or keep working when the sites they rely on change. Features may change or be removed at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, Lodestar or this website. That includes lost in-game items, currency or progress. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under laws that can't be waived.
Stopping use
You can stop using Lodestar at any time by removing the extension, which also deletes everything it saved.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Lodestar after an update means you accept the new terms.
